In 2014, I joined with two classmates at Columbia University to apply for a Brown Magic Grant.

This grant, funded by the Brown Institute at Columbia University, enabled us to travel throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and the Middle East in order to bring our audience into the studios of Iranian artists. Through those visits, we discovered how these artists are under constant market pressure to portray Iran while many of them have been living in exile for decades. In order to produce this documentary, I interviewed dozens of artists, curators, gallerists and collectors across the globe. Check out Reframe Iran's website here.
