Local Matters

In December, 2016, I  joined with two colleagues to start a local investigative newsletter, Local Matters, that curates the best watchdog journalism from around the country.

Columbia Journalism Review and Poynter wrote about Local Matters.  And, a new independent journalism nonprofit called Democracy Fund is paying for us to attend IRE in 2017, where we've been invited to moderate a panel on local investigations.
